Technical Skills
- Proven experience implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools such as Microsoft Purview, CoSoSys Endpoint Protector, Symantec DLP, or similar
- Strong understanding of data classification, content inspection, and endpoint protection techniques
- Familiarity with hybrid environments including Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints
- Working knowledge of SIEM integration (e.g., Splunk), M365 security, and removable media control
- Understanding of privacy frameworks such as GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, and ISO/IEC 27701
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DLP Engineer, Information Security Analyst, or similar role
- Prior involvement in public sector or intergovernmental security projects is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based environments, especially Microsoft 365 and AWS-hosted solutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical implementation and tuning of DLP policies
- Experience supporting incident response and audit activities related to data protection
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and policy adherence
- Excellent written documentation and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across remote teams
- Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English (required); French is a strong plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-400)
- CoSoSys Endpoint Protector Certification or direct implementation experience
- ISO 27001/27701 Implementer or equivalent security certification
- Familiarity with data flow mapping and governance in multilingual organizations
- Prior work with United Nations agencies, NGOs, or multilateral institutions
