Technical Skills

  • Proven experience implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools such as Microsoft Purview, CoSoSys Endpoint Protector, Symantec DLP, or similar
  • Strong understanding of data classification, content inspection, and endpoint protection techniques
  • Familiarity with hybrid environments including Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints
  • Working knowledge of SIEM integration (e.g., Splunk), M365 security, and removable media control
  • Understanding of privacy frameworks such as GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, and ISO/IEC 27701

Professional Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DLP Engineer, Information Security Analyst, or similar role
  • Prior involvement in public sector or intergovernmental security projects is a plus
  • Experience with cloud-based environments, especially Microsoft 365 and AWS-hosted solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical implementation and tuning of DLP policies
  • Experience supporting incident response and audit activities related to data protection

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and policy adherence
  • Excellent written documentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across remote teams
  • Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (required); French is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-400)
  • CoSoSys Endpoint Protector Certification or direct implementation experience
  • ISO 27001/27701 Implementer or equivalent security certification
  • Familiarity with data flow mapping and governance in multilingual organizations
  • Prior work with United Nations agencies, NGOs, or multilateral institutions
